NYC: ERIC COMSTOCK AT CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA

Eric Comstock returns to his residency at New York's newest music venue, CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA (178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) from 8:00 pm to midnight every Tuesday night. An acknowledged master of the American Songbook, Comstock has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and virtually every important nightclub in New York and across the country. He is one of only a handful of singer/pianists who can command a room merely by sitting at the piano, singing and telling stories. In addition to his extensive knowledge of repertoire, Comstock has a seemingly unending supply of anecdotes about the songs, the writers, and the stars who sang them. His unique combination of musicianship, history and charisma creates an experience that is as entertaining as it is musically savvy, and his audiences feel they've been to a terrific party where the music and the stories have been equally great. NYC: SETH BISEN-HERSH'S 350TH SHOWCASE OCTOPALOOZA

This spring, Seth Bisen-Hersh will celebrate his 8th anniversary producing, emceeing and accompanying Talent Showcases at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) as he hit 350 showcases on Friday, April 24th at 7:00 pm and will present 4 additional concerts of his songs featuring 84 showcase alumni. Final dates are Tuesday, May 12th; and Friday May 15th - both shows at 7:00 pm. Bisen-Hersh is a prolific, versatile and award-winning composer/ lyricist and performer. His musicals include Love Quirks (successful limited run in NYC, September 2014, Stanley's Party (Manhattan Children's Theatre, 2010), More to Love (2014 Winner: Best Lyrics, West Village Musical Theatre Festival), The Spickner Spin (2004 Fringe NYC Audience Favorite Award), and Meaningless Sex (2003 Fringe NYC Audience Favorite Award). He has also written and starred in 9 cabaret song cycles of his work: And Then She Dumped Me, The Gayest Straight Man Alive, Meaningful Sex, Neurotic Tendencies, Why Am I Not Famous Yet?, Writer's Block: a cabaret that was hard to write, I'll Relax When I'm Dead: a reluctantly prolific cabaret, If Adele Can Do It, So Can I: an evening of mostly sorrow and Not Your Grandma's Cabaret (unless she's really naughty). He produces two annual charity concerts of his work featuring Broadway performers (Broadway Meows and Broadway Can!), writes/ stars in the web series Every Day a Little Seth (Season 5 premieres June 2015), and by May 2015, will have emceed, produced and accompanied over 350 talent showcases at Don't Tell Mama. In addition, he recently published a memoir: Sleep. Write. Now. Emerging from a dark year of insomnia, anxiety and depression from loss. He has two Bachelors' Degrees from MIT (Computer Science & Engineering and Music Composition) and a Masters' Degree in Music Technology from NYU. There is a $12 cover and 2 drink minimum.

This is Your Night! Russ Weatherford will be presented at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00 pm (NOTE EARLIER STARTING TIME). The This is Your Night! series is based on a classic premise that is hosted by Metropolitan Room Managing Partner, Bernie Furshpan, and profiles a guest honoree who has contributed in some significant way to the NYC Entertainment Industry. It can include, but not limited to: photographers, writers, bloggers, press, promoters, management, publicists, directors, musical directors, producers, etc. The show presents a gift to the honorree, and includes a line-up of entertainment professionals who will share stories, song and comedy about their experiences and ends with a grand finale, a reunion. A portion of the revenue will be given to the Guest of Honor's Charity of Choice. Musical Director IS Ian Herman, with Jonathan Russell on violin. Stage Director is Virginia Jimenez. NYC: JAZZ LEGEND ANNIE ROSS TUESDAYS THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Jazz legend Annie Ross continues her unprecedented, record-breaking, multi-year run at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MRS. KASHA DAVIS TO MAKE NYC DEBUT AT THE BEECHMAN

Current RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Mrs. Kasha Davis will make her New York City debut with the premiere of "There's Always Time For A Cocktail" at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 pm. The show is written by Edward Popil and directed by Ralph Meranti with musical direction by Josh D. Smith. "There's Always Time For A Cocktail" is true life story of little Eddie Popil's transformation from a young boy in Scranton, PA, to "International Celebrity Housewife, Mrs. Kasha Davis," one of the stars of RuPaul's Drag Race. Join the ultimate hostess for an evening of music, stories and party games with a heartfelt story of love, acceptance and finding your own path. There is a $22-$40 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: "SEARCH: PAUL CLAYTON" THE MAN WHO LOVED BOB DYLAN

STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) presents the New York premiere of a new folk musical, 'Search: Paul Clayton, the Man Who Loved Bob Dylan', which features 14 classic folk songs, The show will play for 13 performances only from Wednesday, May 6th through Thursday, May 21st. Showtimes and days vary so check the STAGE 72 Website. The opening night is Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 pm, with a second show on Friday, May 8th at 9:00 pm. 'Search: Paul Clayton' celebrates the true story in words and song of one of Bob Dylan's first musical mentors. Paul Clayton of New Bedford, Massachusetts was the most recorded young folk singer in America when Bobby Zimmerman arrived in 1961 Greenwich Village to begin his career as Bob Dylan. It was Paul who helped open the doors of the folk world to him. From 1961 to 1965 Paul taught Bob the tricks of the trade, while falling hopelessly in love with him. The show was conceived and written by Larry Mollin ("Beverly Hills 90210"), directed by Randal Myler (Tony Award nominee, It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues) with musical direction by Fred Mollin and is produced by Dan Whitten and TIGER Theatricals. "Search: Paul Clayton" will feature Peter Oyloe as Paul Clayton, Jared Weiss as Bob Dylan, Ereni Sevasti as Joan Baez, Jaime Babbitt as Carla Rotolo, Allan Harris as the Rev. Gary Davisand Michael Lanning as Dave Van Ronk. Call for cover/minimum information.

NYC: THE CUTTING ROOM PRESENTS: DAVID DUCHOVNY

David Duchovny, best known for portraying such iconic characters as Fox Mulder on The X Files and Hank Moody on Californication, will release his first solo album, Hell Or Highwater, at THE CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900) on Tuesday, May 12th with ThinkSay Records, distributed by the Caroline/Universal Music Group. The two-time Golden Globe winner's debut album will include 12 self-penned tracks, firmly embedded in his uniquely lyrical, troubadour style. The first single, "Hell or Highwater," was released on March 31st. Duchovny finds himself in high demand in 2015, starring in the upcoming NBC/ITV limited series Aquarius, about the Charles Manson Murders. The series will premiere on May 28. Earlier this year, Duchovny released his first-ever novel, New York Times Bestseller, Holy Cow, published through Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Aside from his most recent achievements, Duchovny has appeared in numerous television shows, including The Larry Sanders Show, Twin Peaks, Life With Bonnie, and Sex and the City, alongside his illustrious film credits including roles in such movies as The X Files Movie, Zoolander, Beethoven, Kalifornia, Full Frontal, The Rapture, Evolution, Return To Me, Julia Has Two Lovers, Chaplin, and Playing God. NYC: THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY: A NEW MUSICAL IN CONCERT BY NEIL BARTRAM & BRIAN HILL

The University of Oklahoma's Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre presents the graduating class of 2015 in the New York premiere of Neil Bartram and Brian Hill's musical The Theory of Relativity at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, May 12th with performances at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. Written specifically for college students, The Theory of Relativity is heralded as a mash-up of Songs for A New World and The Search For Signs of Intelligent Life... The work is a joyous, youthful, musical exploration of the interconnectedness of our orbits as we hurtle through space on this tiny planet. Neil Bartram and Brian Hill are the Drama Desk nominated authors of the Broadway musical The Story of My Life. Together they are currently working on stage adaptations of Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes and Disney's Bedknobs & Broomsticks. A full production of The Theory of Relativity will be presented at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in May 2015 and in London this summer. There is a $25-$55 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

What do you get when you cross Ann-Margret, Katy Perry and RuPaul? You get the wildly glamorous, sophisticated and witty Isabel Rose, who will bring her brand new show, "Come As You Are" to JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE(425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:30 pm. Rose brings her unique twist to everything from Gershwin to Nirvana, including a few originals along the way that will get your toes tapping. NYC: EXPLORING JEWISH MUSIC WITH ZION80

Zion80 explores Jewish music - from Shlomo Carlebach to John Zorn and everything in between - through the lens of the Afrobeat funk master Fela Anikulapo Kuti at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555 - ) on Tuesdays, May 12th, 19th & 26th and June 2nd & 9th at 9:30 pm. Led by Jon Madof (Rashanim, Matisyahu), the 11-piece band arranges Jewish melodies using the polyrhythmic intensity of Afrobeat, blended with the madness of the Downtown scene. Madof's most ambitious project to date, Zion80 is blazing hot and tight as a drum. Spiritual, grooving and endlessly exciting, this is essential Jewish music for the 21st century. NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. Giordano is the leading American specialist in the jazz styles of the 1920s and 1930s. His primary instrument is the bass saxophone. Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks have performed at countless music festivals and concert dates, and have appeared in - and provided music for - dozens of television and film projects, including the award-winning HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
