NYC: ALAN SIMON RETURNS TO THE BEECHMAN WITH "A WOMAN'S TOUCH"

Alan Simon returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Thursday, March 5th at 7pm in "A Woman's Touch" featuring Rebecca Holt (Broadway revival of How To Succeed), Kristin Feeney (Goodspeed Opera House) and Kelsey Landon (The Acting Company) in a festive entertainment with humor, heart and hijinks. The show highlights the eclectic artistry of Harold Arlen, Glen Campbell, Sam Cooke, Yip Harburg, Colin Hay, Paul McCartney, Randy Newman, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Mark Saltzman, Stephen Sondheim, Steve Winwood, and James Taylor, among others. Simon, also credited as co-writer, had a successful run at the Beechman of his one-man show series, The Long Way Home, and recently appeared with The Broadway Performance Project at Stage 72, both directed by Kimberly Vaughn. Collaborating again with Simon is director and co-writer Kimberly Vaughn, known for directing the Obie and Drama Desk Award winning play The Sea Horse in Cambridge, Ron Paolillo's The Lost Boy at Helen Hayes Theatre in Nyack and Queens Theatre in the Park, Sondheim's Saturday Night, co-directed with Theodore Mann at Circle in the Square Theatre School, among others. Musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes (Broadway Sings, LORD TOM) and choreographer Anne Vick (Central Avenue Breakdown) also join the creative team. Alan Simon Productions in association with The Group Theatre Too (Justin Boccitto and Michael Blevins Co-founders) act as producer on the show. The Group Theatre Too credits include Count To Ten (NYMF), The Choreographer's Canvas, Fabulous Fanny: The Songs and Stories of Fanny Brice, An Evening With Danny Kaye and the New York revival of Seesaw. There is a $15 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: SUSAN HODGDON SINGS THE SONGS OF JUDY GARLAND

Susan Hodgdon brings her show "I Could Go on Singing!", featuring the songs of Judy Garland, to DON'T TELL MAMA(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, September 5th at 7:00 pm. Musical Director is Daryl Kojak, including arrangements by Bill Zeffiro. Director is Tanya Moberly. Susan first started performing in cabaret about 5 years ago and this is her 3rd solo cabaret show. "I Could Go On Singing" includes many of Garland's lesser known songs as well as a few of her more popular ones. The show relates a story of Judy`s life, including many anecdotes not commonly known to the public. Susan researched this project for a year and a half. There is a $5 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Katie gave Tony Award-winning performances in the Broadway play Noises Off in 2002, and the musical Promises, Promises in 2010. Seth's weekly interview show always features stars, soon-to-be stars and folks behind the scenes of the musical theater stage - for just a $10 cover - 2-drink minimum. Peter Michael Marino s newest old creation, Late with Lance! , has returned and will be performed at the TRIPLE CROWN UNDERGROUND (330 Seventh Avenue, NYC) on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 pm and Sundays, March 8th, 22nd & 29th at 7:00 pm. Meet Lance ... delusional cruise ship entertainer, celebrity stalker and pathological musical theater fanatic. After a 15-year hiatus from the cabaret world, Lance is back in town with his own brand of variety talk show. He s invited Liza Minnelli, Hugh Jackman and Miami Sound Machine to be on his show - and that s surely bound to happen. This solo show/talk show spoof with a musical theater twist features original song parodies, The Sound of Music performed in five minutes, an homage to the film Fame, and many more ridiculous surprises. Lance has suffered for his art. Now it s your turn. Peter Michael Marino is the performer and creator of Lance Jonathan s critically acclaimed cabaret spoofs All About Me! and More About Me! - which rocked the cabaret circuit in the mid-90s and led to a Back Stage Bistro Award for Outstanding Achievement and a number of MAC Award nominations. He is also the creator of Desperately Seeking the Exit which toured the world for over two years and recounted his tale of writing the flop Blondie musical Desperately Seeking Susan. NYC: ELLYN HARRIS AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Ellyn Harris brings her show "Back to You" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 pm. Ellyn Harris is a pop singer who started her career as a teenager and signed with the William Morris Agency at 18 years old. Performing in TV commercials and shows, she joined SAG-AFTRA and Equity. With a diverse career - from touring with mult i- platinum selling recording artist, Dan Hartman, singing the Alka Seltzer "plop plop fizz fizz" commercial, performing at an Emmy Awards dinner, touring with her own rock band, performing in off-Broadway shows and summer stock, opening act for Rodney Dangerfield (held over several times) - to performing her top charting dance music songs on Megatone Records for thousands of people. Ellyn was nominated for Best New Artist at dance music's Hi-NRG Music Awards. In her show "Back to You," Ellyn performs songs from the 70's through the present - with her own intimate twist, sprinkled with her original songs. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MARIE MASCARI AND MICHAEL GRAYE: "MOONLIGHT & MARTINIS"

Marie Mascari and Michael Graye bring their show "Moonlight and Martinis" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, March 5th at 9:30 pm. The show is a celebration of alcohol, friends, singing things, and more alcohol. M&M will bring all three together cabaret-style; featuring musical theater, opera, pop, and the most obscure songs that you've never heard! In addition to the vocal stylings of M&M, we will be welcoming several dis-extinguished guests, and you won't want to miss their off off off off broadway numbers. From heart-warming ballads, to over-the-top hilarity, the evening will feature hits from the great Peggy Lee, Caro Emerald, Bernstein, Joni Mitchell. Marie Mascari, soprano, was raised in Indiana, where she received her Bachelors and Masters in Vocal performance from Indiana University. After performing with Wolf Trap and Glimmerglass Opera, Marie embarked on a world tour with the Philip Glass Ensemble and has been touring intermittently with the ensemble for ten years. Michael Graye is a Vocalist, Contemporary Songwriter, and Producer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. He is the vice president of Lynn Verlayne Studio, where he works with artists of all ages and represents the finest in Artist Branding and Management. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of New Mexico in 2010 (cum laude), and was honored to study with internationally renowned Mezzo-Soprano Jacqueline Zander-Wall. While in New Mexico, he also directed "the 505 Chorus," an international award-winning, All-Male Youth Chorus based in Albuquerque and released several albums of original compositions as well. His latest project, Day by Day Poem, is an ambitious music/poetry experiment to capture the year 2015 every day. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: QUARTER LIFE CRISIS - MARY MALANEY AT THE DUPLEX

Mary Malaney returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) for the third time on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 pm in a spirited and song-filled attempt to figure out what she's been doing for the last twenty-five years. Join her as she sorts out her career, personal life, and general level of sanity in this one night only production! After last year's successful productions of "Conversations with Mary" and "This is a Legit Cabaret", Mary is excited to present another Duplex cabaret adventure with her music director and collaborator, Drew Wutke. Mary is a NYC-based performer and graduate of Ithaca College's musical theater program. Some of her previous theater credits Kate Monster (Avenue Q), Titania (A Midsummer Night's Dream) and Maria Von Trapp (The Sound of Music). There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: EMILY & ERIN DAVIE DIRECT FROM 'SIDE SHOW'

They said they would never leave you and now they're back! Emily Padgett (Rock of Ages, Grease, Legally Blonde) and Erin Davie (Grey Gardens, A Little Night Music, The Mystery of Edwin Drood) come 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 pm, straight from the recent Broadway revival of Side Show. The duo took Broadway by storm this season, receiving rave reviews for their performances as Daisy and Violet Hilton. The two starlets sing hits from Side Show as well as other songs that led them to the freak show. There is a $30-$75 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: VERY VERY ROCK SHOW IN CONCERT AT 54 BELOW

A sexy electric reinvention of a classic comedy of rebellion, love, freedom, and redemption, VERY VERY, the new musical that turns Shakespeare's As You Like It into a full-out rock concert, will be presented at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Thursday, March 5th at 9:30 pm. The night features Rebecca Naomi Jones (Fortress of Solitude, American Idiot), Alysha Umphress (On the Town, American Idiot), Joe Carroll (Cinderalla, Once), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Theo Stockman (Hair, American Idiot), Matt Hydzik (Side Show, West Side Story), Ben Roseberry (The Lion King), Sara Kapner (Bare), Kasie Gasparini (Mamma Mia), show creators Zac Lasher (U-Melt, Bebe Buell Band, Maggie Rose), Jay Leibowitz (The Acting Company, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey) and more to be announced. VERY VERY tells the story of Rosalind and Orlando, two young lovers who flee the tyranny of home only to reunite in a sexually charged and confusingly passionate exile. Songs feature a modern rock vocabulary from various genres blended together in Zac Lasher's unique compositional style and Jay Leibowitz's lyrics, which cleverly deconstruct Shakespeare's original text. VERY VERY was originally conceived by Jason King Jones (The Acting Company, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and Associate Artistic Director at Olney Theatre Center) and has been in development since April of 2012. Two free industry concert readings of the show, directed by Jason King Jones, music directed by Zac Lasher, and produced by Jay Leibowitz, were performed to great acclaim on March 4th, 2013 at the legendary Gibson-Baldwin Showroom in midtown Manhattan. There is a $25-$60 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: RYAN SCOTT OLIVER & LINDSAY MENDEZ'S ACTOR THERAPY

Actor Therapy goes 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Thursday, March 5th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. Hosted by award-winning composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver (35mm, Darling) and Broadway actress Lindsay Mendez (Wicked, Dogfight, Godspell), Actor Therapy, is a series of masterclasses for performers looking to improve their auditions, build a better book, and expand their understanding of what it means to be an actor and song interpreter in New York today. There is a $10-$25 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
