CHICAGO: SIMPLISTIC SOUL MEETS THE 27 CLUB
Simplistic Soul, not your average cabaret, will be bringing something new to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Friday, March 6th at 8:00 pm. Simplistic Soul's unique blend of rock, soul, jazz and blues will be bringing to life some of our favorite musicians whom we lost at the tender age of 27. Morrison, Hendrix, Joplin, Robert Johnson, Winehouse, and Cobain. This show will make one want to slap yo' mama and give it all kinds of church waves and soul claps! It is a night that won't be easy to forget! Laugh, dance, bob your head and feel you have taken a eclectic trip down memory lane but make sure you have your 2 drink minimum. It will make you groove just a little bit more. Simplistic Soul likes a good groove! There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. 
ST. LOUIS. MO: NEAL RICHARDSON - PENNIES FROM HEAVEN
Neal Richardson has done a ton for cabaret in St. Louis as a musical director and teacher, and now it's his turn at the mic. He will be performing at THE GASLIGHT THEATER (358 North Boyle Street, Louis MO - 314-725-4200 EXT 10 - RESV: www.LicketyTix.com ) on Friday, March 6th at 8:00 pm as part of the GASLIGHT CABARET FESTIVAL SPRING 2015. Neal is one of St Louis's authorities on musical theater and the Great American Songbook. He has music directed or accompanied the cabaret shows of Julia Murney, Megan McGinnis, Ben Nordstrom, Tim Schall, Jeffrey Wright, Ken Haller and Katie McGrath, among many others. Neal has taught musical theatre at Webster University for the last 15 years. His credits include The Spitfire Grill, OKLAHOMA!, Pippin, Violet, Nine, Into the Woods, A New Brain, Spring Awakening, Carousel and others. He is also a musical director and arranger for the MUNY. As a nationally noted arranger for Hal Leonard, Neal is responsible for the vocal selections of over 30 Broadway shows as well as arrangements for solo piano, including a collection of Radiohead songs.RESV: www.LicketyTix.com
