Jazz/ cabaret vocalist Mary Foster Conklin performs on Friday nights at MOSCOW57 ON DELANCEY (168 1/2 Delancey Street, NYC - 212-260-5775) at 8:00 pm. on Friday, January 30th the club celebrated its one year anniversary on the corner where Loisaida meets the Williamsburg Bridge. Owned by Ellen Kaye, singer/ pioneer/ force of nature, who nightly hosts the best party in town with a rotating group of artistsecalls it Hobohemia - A Rendezvous of Strangers. NYC: CAROLYN MONTGOMERY-FORANT: VISIBLE PHOENIX

MAC, Back Stage Bistro and Nightlife Award winning singer, songwriter and recording artist Carolyn Montgomery-Forant, returns to the New York City stage in her first solo show in eight years! Her show 'Visible Phoenix' continues at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday, March 13th at 7:00 pm, with additional shows scheduled for Fridays, April 10th and May 8th, 2015 - all shows at 7:00 pm. Musical direction is by Jon Weber, and the show features a five-piece band and Carolyn's trio of back-up singers, The Fine Whine. Montgomery-Forant returned to the stage one year ago, in January 2014. Within nine short months, she was featured in the acclaimed review The Amanda McBroom Project (directed by Broadway's Arthur Masella, and co-starring Karen Akers, Mandy Gonzales, Lacretta Ross and KT Sullivan) at the Studio Theater in New York City; she appeared in the popular series Broadway by the Year at Town Hall and she co-starred at 54 Below to standing room only crowds in the hit show Dirty Little Songs. In addition, Montgomery-Forant took her fledging solo act to Davenport's in Chicago, The Hackney Attic in London, and Martuni's in San Francisco, delighting audiences and critics alike. Directed by Eric Michael Gillett, this comeback tour de force incorporates music from a wide range of genres and eras, original comedy, and a few songs with music and lyrics by Montgomery-Forant herself. Distorted Diznee is an outrageous Las Vegas-style parody revue of some of America's most beloved animated classics presented on Fridays at 10:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). Be Part of Our World as a troupe of fabulous drag queens, including Holly Dae, Bootsie LeFaris, Pixie Aventura, Brenda Dharling and Bob The Drag Queen, takes you on a twisted - and very adult - journey, catapulting you back to your childhood into a Magical Kingdom where dreams come true. NYC: LINDA PURL - MIDNIGHT CARAVAN

Linda Purl is thrilled to be back at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with her new concert tour Midnight Caravan: Celebrating the Great Ladies of the Glamorous Nightclub Era. Performances are Thursday & Friday, March 12th & 13th at 7:00 pm. Midnight Caravan salutes the great women singing stars of the 1940s and '50s - from Ella Fitzgerald to Judy Garland to Rosemary Clooney - as they reign over the swanky, sexy supper clubs of the era. From sultry ballads to hot Latin jazz arrangements of Broadway tunes, the show features classic standards like My Romance, Shall We Dance and Caravan, and conjures a nighttime world where the surroundings are posh, the drinks keep flowing, and nobody goes to bed before three. Purl has toured extensively with her solo concert Come Rain or Come Shine, with Lee Lessack in tributes to both Berlin and Mercer as well as with Gregory Harrison in A Night to Remember. Her recordings include the solo albums Alone Together and Out of this World - Live with special guest Desi Arnaz, Jr. Linda is currently recurring on the new CBS drama Reckless; has recently been seen in recurring roles on True Blood as Barbara Pelt, The Office as Helene Beasley and on the Emmy Award winning Homeland as Elizabeth Gaines. She has starred in over 45 made-for-TV movies, and is especially known for her series roles Charlene Matlock on Matlock and Ashley Pfister, Fonzie's fiancee, on Happy Days. Her performances on Broadway include the Tony nominated musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Getting and Spending, and The Baby Dance. She has toured regional theatres extensively. Award Winning Cabaret Producer Joseph Macchia brings you his new series Gone Too Soon, in tribute to singers who have left us way too early. One Friday, March 13th at 9:30 pm some of the best singers in New York City will pay tribute to Michael Jackson at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Performers scheduled to appear include Brandi Massey, Jay Ober Michael Lewis Mejia, Christopher Anthony, Henry Beau Howard, Sly Young, David Hernandez, and Alicia Tomasko. The evening will be musical directed by Maestro Yaz. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Australian actor Andrew Hofman returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, March 13th at 7:00 pm with his exciting show "Powerful Songs. No Apologies." featuring songs from Broadway, Australia & Peter Allen. In Australia, he worked intensively with Australian actor and coach Nic Bishop, Australia's most recognized improv teacher Lyn Pierse & Lifetime Member of the Actor's Studio, acclaimed director and acting coach Jeneffa Soldatic. Andrew garnered roles in theatre, musicals and television in Sydney where Soldatic identified Andrew's extraordinary talent and passion. She promptly introduced him to world renowned acting coaches in the US; Susan Batson (Award winning director & acting coach for Nicole Kidman, Juliette Binoche & Oprah Winfrey) and Elizabeth Kemp (Associate Artistic Director & Member of the Board of Directors of the Actor's Studio). Upon invitation to continue working with Batson and Kemp and to begin his career in the US, Andrew relocated to New York City in the summer of 2012 and has been working consistently and closely with these inspirational mentors. Molly Pope, brassy belter/ whiskey guzzler/ benevolent lunatic - will introduce a new 4-month concert series at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, March 13th at 9:30 pm. Molly is fresh off her acclaimed Off Broadway performances in Found at the Atlantic Theater Company and Horseplay, or the Fickle Mistress at La Mama ETC /Theatre Askew. With the new show "Molly Pope Likes Your Status", she sheds all pretense of humility and shamelessly entreats you to adore her for an hour while she prances about making loud noises. Unable to deny that she defines her self-worth entirely via social media notifications, Molly exploits her fragile ego and vocal chops for your entertainment. Expect the unexpected juxtapositions of song and substance alongside a healthy helping of her roots in The Great American Songbook. Over-sharing? Of course. Sing-a-long? Yes. Three encores? Why not. Susan Winter moves to DON'T TELL MAMA(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, March 13th at 7:00 pm with a reprise of her newest show, titled "Susan Winter, A Woman for All Seasons." Susan will be singing some of her latest favorite songs set to fabulous Tedd Firth arrangements, as she tells stories of coming to terms with ... well, coming to terms. Alex Rybek is at the piano, with Tom Hubbard on bass. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Maureen McGovern celebrates women singer/ songwriters in her powerful new show "Sing, My Sisters, Sing!" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday, March 10th and Thursday, Friday & Saturday, March 12th, 13th & 14th at 7:00 pm. This is also the title of a forthcoming CD.
