NYC: TOM ANDERSEN RETURNS TO DON'T TELL MAMA IN FIRST SOLO SHOW IN ALMOST 10 YEARS

Five-time MAC Award winner Tom Andersen will return to New York cabaret and DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with his new show: ''My Favorite Sings'' on Saturdays, August 2nd, 9th & 16th at 7:00 pm. In his first solo show in nearly a decade, the acclaimed singer-songwriter will offer showtunes, pop songs and originals. Plus, he'll include selections from ''Sunny Sinclair,'' his tongue-in-cheek musical about a chanteuse who's played Broadway and senior centers in Florida. Andersen, who's sung at Carnegie Hall, the Algonquin and the Kennedy Center, will be accompanied by musical director James Followell. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN AT MAMA' S

Cabaret favorites Tommy Femia and Rick Skye have teamed up for another evening of "Judy and Liza Together Again" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturdays, August 2nd, 16th & 30th at 8:00 pm. They are joined by Ricky Ritzel (as Mort) at the piano. These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/ daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is best known for writing a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka", "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" for which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". There is a $25 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum.

NYC: A GAY SHOW FOR ALL PEOPLE!

Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp host a gay show for all people on Saturday, August 2nd at 6:30 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 ). The show is filled with songs and laughs from comics and queers and mostly people who are both. This month the show features Matteo Lane (Just For Laughs), Jo Firestone (Punderdome) and Brandon Scott Jones (UCB)! There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JEFFERY & COLE PRESENT:POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE 2: EDITH HEAD'S REVENGE

After a sold-out run of their live show last summer, internet comedy duo Jeffery Self and Cole Escola are reuniting once again at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 ) for 5 dates in July & August to conjure up the same magic that made their TV show, "Jeffery & Cole Casserole," a cult hit. Show dates are Thursday through Saturday, July 31st through August 2nd, at 9:30 pm; Thursday & Friday, August 7th & 8th at 9:30 pm. Their new live show, "Postcards from the Edge 2: Edith Head's Revenge" is a ridiculous long-form sketch piece inspired by the fact that Carrie Fisher lives next door to her mother, Debbie Reynolds, in a house that once belonged to the famous costume designer Edith Head. In the show, Jeffery and Cole play various characters and explore what might happen if the ghost of Edith Head were haunting Carrie Fisher and if Debbie Reynolds wore a lot of velour. NYC: SHANGELA: STRAIGHT OUTTA PARIS

D.J. Pierce, the force of nature also known as Shangela returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 ) on Friday through Monday, August 1st through 4th at 7:30 pm with an all-new show. Straight Outta Paris, Loud Country & Outta Control! Beginning August 1st you can catch the hilarious one-woman show packed with songs, dance and laughter. MANHATTAN: LE SCANDAL CABARET CONTINUES AT THE BEECHMAN

Metro-Star Top 10 Finalist, Chrysten Peddie, makes her full-length cabaret debut at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 ) on Saturday, August 2nd at 4:00 pm. She tells, in this hour long examination, how being "Too Damn Tall" has affected her life both professionally and personally and the things she has learned from it along the way. Chrysten brings her strong, soulful voice and presence to a combination of music theatre, pop and rock tunes by such artists as Stephen Sondheim, Florence & the Machine, Marc Blitzstein, William Finn and The Rolling Stones among many others. Sometimes bold and brassy, sometimes introspective and vulnerable, an hour with Chrysten Peddie promises to be an hour of entertainment you won't soon forget! There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MICHAEL RICCA: STILL THAT BOY

Boston-based Michael Ricca brings his show 'Still That Boy' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 ) on Saturday, August 2nd at 7:00 pm. It is just this notion that has inspired cabaret singer, Michael Ricca. In 2001, he presented his debut cabaret show, "A Boy Like That," a youthful musical romp, upbeat, fun, and carefree. Thirteen years later, after exploring more adult themes in his shows "Beauty Is" (2010) and "On My Way to You: the Songs of Michel Legrand" (2012), Ricca once again explores the child within, this time, with insight sharpened by time in his newest cabaret show, "Still That Boy". Ricca, whose timeless boyish looks have only deepened and become enriched with time, is remarkably sanguine about where he is now. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: THE Q WITH JOSEPH JOHN

Joseph Macchia, Aaron Lee Battle, Jason Morris, Bret Shuford, AND Arsenio Amadis bring The Q to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 ) on Saturday, August 2nd at 11:00 pm. 6 Gay men sit down together to discuss current events, entertainment, gossip, sex and more. This show is for everyone, no one is discriminated on The Q. Each month the show will benefit a different charity. On August 1st, the show will benefit Cycle For The Cause Team Eagle. $5 of every cover will be donated to the cause. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: PATTI LUPONE: THE LADY WITH A TORCH

Two-time Tony Award winner and 54 Below favorite Patti LuPone returns to54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) with her critically-acclaimed show The Lady with A Torch on Monday, July 21st through Saturday, August 2nd (no show on Sunday, the 27th of July). Patti performs an eclectic collection of torch songs by such composers and lyricists as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter.
