NYC: COLE RUMBOUGH MAKES METROPOLITAN ROOM DEBUT

Cole Rumbough will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:00 pm. Dedicated to preserving and promoting the romance and songwriting genius of the Great American Songbook, Cole's influences are drawn from Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand, Vic Damone, Marilyn Maye, Christine Andreas, Mel Torme, Doris Day, Nat King Cole, and of course, Frank Sinatra. Cole Rumbough has performed at many private events and charity galas in New York, the Hamptons and Palm Beach, including the prestigious International Red Cross Ball with the Peter Duchin Orchestra. Recently, Cole has been performing regularly at Sirio Maccioni's legendary Le Cirque Cafe. His original song, "Awakened" is featured in the new Supernova Media film of the same title. At the age of 23, Cole is very excited to be making his Metropolitan Room debut. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JAZZ LEGEND ANNIE ROSS TUESDAYS THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Jazz legend Annie Ross continues her unprecedented, record-breaking, multi-year run at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: THAT DARE NOT SPEAK: LOVE SONGS BY GAY AMERICAN COMPOSERS

Tenor/composer Dennis Tobenski and pianist Marc Peloquin present a post-Valentine's Day evening of love songs by gay American composers at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:00 pm. The show will include works by David Del Tredici, Chester Biscardi, Dennis Tobenski, Darien Shulman, and Zachary Wadsworth. This concert is presented as a part of the 2014 Composers Now Festival. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: EDDIE BRUCE MAKES 54 BELOW DEBUT

Acclaimed concert performer Eddie Bruce makes his 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) debut with a brand new show on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:00 pm. The show will be featuring more songs than anyone could imagine in one performance. Last year, Eddie was a guest artist with the Philly Pops. He has brought audiences to their feet singing with the Hershey Symphony Pops and Ocean City Pops as well, and his show, "Bruce on Bennett", featuring the work of Tony Bennett, is the #1 best selling cabaret in the history of the Prince Music Theater. In the premiere of The Medley Show, Eddie Bruce creates fascinating and fun medleys by our greatest composers and lyricists- including Burt Bacharach, Jimmy Webb, Sammy Cahn, Johnny Mercer, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim and more. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: JASON BROCK IN A NEW YORK STATE OF MIND

Jason Brock brings his show 'In A New York State of Mind' to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, February 18th at 9:30 pm. Jason Brockwas a finalist on FOX TV's "The X-Factor" where his big song was Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind." Jason loves New York, and although he is a San Francisco resident and a well known cabaret performer there, he's thrilled to be making his New York City debut with this show. Jason is ready to share his soulful, genuine and candid music, ranging from R&B to jazz to musicals to pop. There will be selections from Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, Hedwig, Anita Baker, Sade, Rocky Horror and more. There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: SOLEDAD BARRIO & NOCHE FLAMENCA AT JOE'S PUB

The world-renowned Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca celebrates 15 years at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) with a career retrospective that features the company's best-known works as well as selections from Antigona, a brand new piece commissioned by Joe's Pub as part of the New York Voices series. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday, February 18th through 22nd at 7:00 & 9:30 pm, with an additional performance on Saturday the 22nd at 2:00 pm. Noche Flamenca was founded by artistic director Martin Santangelo and his Bessie award-winning wife Soledad Barrio. Writing in the New York Times, the chief dance critic Alastair Macaulay has called Barrio "an intensely dramatic dancer", noting that her skilled footwork expresses "the brilliance and color of flamenco rhythm". Although deeply rooted in the beautiful Flamenco culture of Madrid, Noche Flamenca's authentic gypsy heritage was reborn in New York City. The company maintains the essence, purity and integrity of one of the world's most complex and mysterious art forms, creating powerful performances that radiate off the Joe's Pub stage. "There is an intimacy we can achieve in terms of the work, the audience, the partnership, at Joe's Pub which could not exist anywhere else," said Santangelo. Call for cover/minimum information.

NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
