FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT

BORN FOR BROADWAY has announced that their fourth annual celebrity cabaret, featuring Broadway and TV stars donating their time and talent to raise money for paralysis-based organizations, will be take place at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, September 30th at 9:00 pm. BORN FOR BROADWAY recently received the inaugural Heart of New York Award, honoring arts organizations that have benefitted the New York community. Tony nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) will direct; Lawrence Yurman (Far From Heaven, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Grey Gardens) is Music Director. The full cast of BORN FOR BROADWAY includes Aaron Lazar (The Light in the Piazza, A Little Night Music), Adrian Bailey (The Little Mermaid), Ali Stroker (GLEE Project, Glee), Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific), Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), Annie Funke (If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet), Betsy Wolfe (The Last Five Years), Carmen Ruby Floyd (After Midnight, Porgy and Bess), Carole Lasser, Chris Pinnella (Trans Siberian Orchestra), Graham Rowat (Mamma Mia), Howard McGillin (Phantom of the Opera, Edwin Drood), Jim Brochu (Drama Desk winner, Zero Hour), John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, ImaginOcean), Karen Akers (Nine, Grand Hotel), Kathleen Monteleone (Hands On A Hardbody), Marissa Perry (Sister Act, Hairspray) Peter Scolari (Lucky Guy, Hairspray), Steve Rosen (Peter and the Starcatcher), Timothy McDevitt (Carousel at Lincoln Center). There is a $40-$150 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
