NYC: ELAINE ST. GEORGE RETURNS WITH JONI MITCHELL SHOW
Elaine St. George brings her acclaimed Joni Mitchell show toDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Thursday, February 28th at 7:30 pm. The show features Ross Patterson as musical director, with Adam Armstrong on bass and Karen Waltuch on viola. Elaine St. George specializes in reinventing the classics of pop. It's just that her definition of "pop" is a little broader than most people's. From Gershwin and Cole Porter (who wrote the popular music of the 1930s) to Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan and a host of newer songwriters. In this acclaimed show, Elaine presents her own take on Joni Mitchell. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
