54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents Sherie Rene Scott in an exclusive two-week engagement of her brand new show "Piece of Meat" Tuesdays through Saturdays, October 16th through 20th and 23rd through 27th at 8:30 pm, with late shows on Fridays & Saturdays at 11:00 pm. Ms. Scott's appearance at 54 Below in, "Piece of Meat," with music direction by Todd Almond, features her unique talent for exploring the singular storytelling and musical abilities she has become known for. Sherie Rene Scott is an actor, signer, and writer known for her work in numerous theatrical productions including Everyday Rapture, written by Dick Scanlan and Ms. Scott and directed by Michael Mayer. The show received Tony Award nominations for Best Actress in a Musical, Best Book and Best Musical. She also appeared in Women On The Verge of A Nervous Breakdown (Drama Desk Nomination), "Ursula in Disney's The Little Mermaid (Outer Critics Circle nomination), John Guare's Landscape of the Body (Obie Awards, Lucille Lortel Award), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award nominations), Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida, Tommy (OBC), Rent, The Last Five Years (Drama Desk Nomination), Debbie Does Dallas, Randy Newman's Faust, and Kander & Ebb's Over And Over (Helen Hayes nomination). There is a $60 cover plus a $30 food/drink minimum.
