SF: AMANDA KING WITH YOUNG LIONS, LEGENDS & MY GUYS
Rising star and jazz chanteuse Amanda King will present three evenings of straight ahead jazz standards interpreted with her by some of the best in the business at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) on Mondays, May 2nd, 9th & 16th at 8:00 pm. Her show "The Swing Of Things: Young Lions" on the 2nd features a trio that includes two-time Grammy nominee Taylor Eigsti on piano; the May 9th show, "SF Legends", is a veteran swinging jazz quartet led by Bay Area based pianist William Bell (Carmen McRae, Nancy Wilson); and on May 16th "My Guys" will feature The Amanda King Trio, led by veteran pianist Shota Osabe. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
