NYC: MEG FLATHER WITH "HOME SHOPPING DIVA"
After thirteen years writing, recording and promoting her five original contemporary folk/rock albums, singer/songwriter Meg Flather returns to her Cabaret roots and DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 ) on Friday, April 16th at 9:15 pm. Her show, "Home Shopping Diva, songs of love, loss, & lipstick" is inspired by Flather's second career as a popular cosmetics salesperson on domestic and international home shopping TV channels. With her rocking band featuring Paul Greenwood, John Mettam and Jamie Rogers, Flather celebrates many of the great singers and songwriters who influenced her own compositions as well as her gift for delivering the comic song. Meg Flather has appeared on QVC, Shop NBC, HSN, TVSN (Australia), and The Shopping Channel (Canada) as one of TV's most successful cosmetic salespersons. At the same time, she has enjoyed a life-long parallel career as a singer and songwriter. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
