NYC: JESTERS OF JIVE IS SWINGIN' DOWNTOWN!
Join Joan Crowe and her band on Thursday, April 14th at a new venue for a fun evening of "Jump-Jive & Swing" at LAFAYETTE GRILL & BAR (54 Franklin Street, NYC - 212-732-5600 - ) from 7:30 pm until 12:30 am. Don't miss the FREE dance lesson by Spencer Weisbond from "You Should Be Dancing" Studios at 7:00 pm before the fun begins.There's a great dance floor and awesome food! You can swing with Joan & Co. until your feet fall off, or you can just listen and tap your toes. Joan will be performing with a 5 piece version of her band with Fernando Hernandez on Piano, Micheal Thurber on Bass, Rosa Avila on Drums, Sean Mahoney on Trombone and vocals. Instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome to sit in. LAFAYETTE GRILL & BAR is located in a really hip neighborhood downtown and easy parking after 7:00 pm. $10 cover.
