Following a year hiatus, Scott Alan has announced the return of the acclaimed 'Monday Nights, New Voices' series to New York City. Scott started the series in 2005 to celebrate new talent struggling to be heard. Each month, he will produce the series that features five new voices gracing the stage of THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) and singing the work of established or emerging composers. The guest songwriter(s) join the New Voices each month and accompany them on music from their songbook. The first concert will be on Monday, May 20th at 7:00 pm. Following that date, each concert will fall on the last Monday of each month. Paul Staroba will return as the resident musical director of the series. To apply, email Scott at MNNVinfo@yahoo.com with a headshot & an mp3 or youtube video of yourself. I listen to all submissions. Though anybody, anywhere, can apply. DON'T SUBMIT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO N.Y.C. IF ACCEPTED. All ages can apply. There is NO cost to enter or participate.copyright 2011-13 - See cabaret listings from all over the world at CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE - YOU ARE WELCOME TO POST YOUR COMMENTS BELOW
