SAN FRANCISCO, CA: LUA HADAR - WHEN IN ROME: SONGS OF THE "LA DOLCE VITA" ERA
International vocalist Lua Hadar and her jazz trio perform their new hit show, When in Rome: Songs of the "La Dolce Vita" Era, at FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) on Thursday, November 10th at 8:00 pm. Originally produced in conjunction with The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco, the show features popular Italian and American hits by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Luigi Tenco, Henry Mancini, Domenico Modugno and more, including such favorites as Arrivederci Roma, Al di la, Volare and of course When in Rome. Vocals: Lua Hadar; Piano: Jason Martineau; Bass: Dan Feiszli; Drums: Kelly Park. Lua Hadar has been an Italophile since she can remember, living in Italy several years while touring as a performer, becoming fluent in the language and falling in love with all things Italian. Hadar has performed in Italy, France, Spain and Switzerland during her five year residency with two italian theatre companies and has charmed audiences from Bangkok to New York. She has performed numerous times at San Francisco's legendary Fairmont Hotel, as well as The Plush Room, The Rrazz Room, Jazz at Pearl's, Society Cabaret and Yoshi's. Hadar produced the Italian-Inspired comic cabaret festival, Cabaret Comico, from 2013-2015 in San Francisco, and as an indie performer-producer, she has released three CDs with Music Director Jason Martineau. There is a $25-$40 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
