Karen Luschar brings her acclaimed show, 'Chasing Rainbows - Songs of Judy Garland' to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) for one more show: Monday, November 21st, at 7:00 pm. She is accompanied by her 3-piece band. Karen celebrates this incredible icon and the songs she imprinted in the hearts of millions, capturing Judy Garland's heartbreaking vulnerability and spunk. With over 35 songs including, The Boy Next Door, Swanee, A Great Day for the Irish, The Trolley Song, But Not For Me, and Come Rain or Come Shine, Garland's story and music are seamlessly woven into this theatrical cabaret concert taking the audience through the exuberant highs and very difficult lows of Garland's personal life and career. Karen has delighted audiences with this show from performing arts venues around the country for over 12 years, to the concert halls of Lincoln Center several seasons ago. The appeal of her outstanding success is that she has never tried to imitate Judy, only to sing with passion, love and deep respect the outstanding music sung by this outstanding performer. Karen's career includes Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, cruise ships, international conferences, and commercials There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
