BOSTON: DANE VANNATTER CD RELEASE SHOW AT THE REGATTABAR
Dane Vannatter will be celebrating the release of his 4th CD "Give Me Something Real" at THE REGATTABAR at the Charles Hotel (1 Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA - 617-395-7757 ) for ONE NIGHT ONLY on Friday, June 24th at 7:30 PM. Accompanying him will be many of the fine musicians who made this CD possible including Freddie Boyle on piano, Bart Weisman on drums, Steve Ahern on trumpet and Ron Ormsby on bass! Dane has received Bistro awards for Outstanding Vocalist and for his second recording Flight by the critics of BackStage in New York. Dane has been acclaimed by reviewers at The New York Post, The Boston Globe, and BackStage for a style that blends facets of cabaret and jazz with intelligence and care. He has been nominated for 4 MAC awards andwas a Nightlife Award finalist. Dane released all 3 of his previous recordings (Here's to Life, Flight, and Double Standards) at the Regattabar in Cambridge, MA. He has performed for several years at the annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention in New York. In Pittsburgh, Dane sings regularly with the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra and has performed for First Fridays at the Frick, and sings regularly at Fairmont Hotel's Jazz at Andy's and James Street Gastropub & Speakeasy.
