Charlie Bicknell is back at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Friday & Saturday, June 24th & 25th at 8:00 pm with NO ANGEL UNCENSORED 2016 - a new show packed with anarchy, wit ,comic ingenuity and studded with orgasms throughout. She is once again joined by the internationally acclaimed mezzo soprano Louise Innes in this 'cabaret with claws'. With exceptional pianist David Harrod, and exploiting the talents of postman, Jez Brodie - this show involves no actual animals and very few fish.
LONDON: BLUE HARLEM AT THE CRAZY COQS - JUNE 24th
Blue Harlem, widely regarded as one of the top swing/ jump-blues bands on the London scene for over 15 years, performs at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Friday, June 24th at 10:30 pm. They have been bringing an intelligence and sophistication to the art of combining jazz and rhythm and blues that was prevalent on America's West coast of the 40s and early 50s. They have become regular favourites at venues such as Ronnie Scott's, The 100 Club, The Hippodrome, Hideawayand many more. The band also regularly perform abroad, appearing at jazz festivals in Spain, Norway, Belgium and Germany. Blue Harlem, who launched the career of rising star Imelda May, features the sensational vocalist Sophie Shaw, Paul Eldridge on piano, Gethin Liddington on trumpet, Paul Robinson on drums and Manuel Alvarez on bass.
