NYC: ROBIN'S NEST - A BENEFIT FOR HELPUSADOPT.ORG

Celebrate new beginnings and the return of Spring! Join host and Helpusadopt.org board member Robin Westle, headliner Carole Demas, best known for creating the role of 'Sandy' in the original Broadway production of Grease, and co-star of the popular and wildly successful children's television show "The Magic Garden" and special guest stars Stephen Mitchell Brown of Broadway's Jekyll and Hyde, Leah Jennings (Metrostar finalist), Eva Kantor (Metrostar finalist, NY Cabaret Convention), Valerie Lemon, concert soloist for the late Marvin Hamlisch, and Sage Melcher (Great American Songbook HS and Academy Competition finalist) at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Monday, March 28th at 7:00 pm. This will be an unforgettable night of song and story to benefit Helpusadopt.org, a national non-profit 501(c)(3) financial assistance grant program providing qualified couples and individuals - regardless of race, ethnicity, marital status, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability - with grants of up to $15,000 towards their domestic, international, foster, or special needs adoption expenses. Adoption is expensive. Statistics say that an average adoption costs upwards of $30,000. The magnitude and uncertainty of these expenses is a significant obstacle standing in the way of permanent homes for the more than 150 million children around the globe who need parents. Through the generous contributions of donors, Helpusadopt.org is able to assist others in overcoming the financial obstacles they face when seeking to adopt. Helpusadopt.org's average grant is approximately $8,500 and since the organization's launch in 2007, Helpusadopt.org has helped to build more than 150 families by awarding over $1,300,000 in total adoption grants. For more information, please see their web site at Helpusadopt.org. There is a $25 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
