NYC: HILLARY CONFIDENTIAL: A HEART TO HEART COCKTAIL CABARET
Kelley Karel presents 'Hillary Confidential: A Heart To Heart Cocktail Cabaret' at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Saturday, February 27th at 4:30 pm. Imagine Hillary Clinton, alone in a hotel suite, with nothing but a baby grand, a little liquid encouragement and a Secret Service agent who just happens to play a mean piano. Hillary lets her hair down and gets to the heart of the matter in this funny and delightfully moving glimpse into how she really feels about the current state of affairs. Written by & starring acclaimed Hillary Clinton impersonator, Kelley Karel, featuring award winning Music Director, Jason Wynn, and directed by Broadway veteran, Chuck Karel. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. ($20 cover if reserved in advance)

SMITHTOWN, NY: UNIQUE LONG ISLAND STORYTELLING SHOW FEATURES TRUE STORIES - WITH A TWIST - PLUS MUSIC
(mostly) TRUE THINGS, a monthly storytelling show that features true stories - with a twist - told live, without notes and the only one of its kind on Long Island, will have its next performance on Saturday February 27th, at 7:00 pm, at THE PERFORMING ARTS STUDIO (224 East Main Street, Port Jefferson, NY). The line-up of storytellers includes award-winning Long Island comic and writer Stevie GB, Moth Storytelling Grand Slam winner Tracey Segarra, and 2 gifted creative writing students from Sayville High School, Allison Pelletier and Loriann Capra. This show is an entirely unique entertainment experience that has stories told by accomplished storytellers and a game that involves the audience. All the stories except one include carefully-crafted deceptions, and the audience has an opportunity to question the storytellers, then vote for the person who told the unvarnished truth. Audience members who choose the correct person get a prize. Tickets are $10 online until 5:00 pm on the day of the show, available at http://www.mostlytruethings.com . Host/ creator Jude Treder-Wolff is storyteller, singer/ songwriter and writer/ performer who is an active in New York storytelling scene and performed solo cabaret shows at clubs in New York and around the country. She was featured onstage in the groundbreaking RISK! live storytelling show and podcast, and has told stories at The Moth in New York and Prose Of Pie in Tarrytown, NY. With musical director Wells Hanley she co-wrote the lyrics and music for the songs used to set up every stage of the game in (mostly) TRUE THINGS. Her solo show Crazytown was selected for the 2013 Midtown International Theater Festival, the 2012 Chicago and San Francisco Fringe Festivals and was performed at Actors Theatre Workshop, Broadway Comedy Club and The Pit-The Peoples Improv in New York, at the Charles B.
