BOSTON AREA: AMAZING THINGS OPEN MIC WITH GUEST SHERYL ALTMAN TONIGHT
Every second Wednesday of the month Leslie Holmes hosts an amazing Open Mic night at the AMAZING THINGS ARTS CENTER (160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA - 508-405-2787 ), and each show features a special guest. On Wednesday, June 12th the featured guest will be Sheryl Altman. Ever since growing up in New York City, Sheryl Altman always wanted a career in the performing arts, but "real life" seemed to dictate otherwise, resulting in a career as a corporate lawyer instead. Her passion to sing and perform never dwindled. In fact, the desire became stronger over the years. She is now pursuing her dreams through Community Theater and Cabaret. Pianist for the open mic is Tom LaMark. The open-mic starts at 7:00 pm (signup at 6:30 pm), and the featured performers go on at 8:10 pm. There is an $10 cover charge ($9 cover for BACA members).
