SIXTH ANNUAL MARCH IS CABARET MONTH PROMOTION CONTINUES

Thanks to 5 generous initial sponsors, plus 3 new sponsors, PHASE ONE on our MARCH IS CABARET MONTH PROMOTION is in "full speed ahead" mode - the MARCH IS CABARET MONTH promotional fliers have been ordered and will arrive this weekend. Then comes the task (and expense) of distributing them. The flier has space to add local information and will be made available to anyone who wishes them to promote their local MARCH IS CABARET MONTH programs and shows. I am now seeking a local source for the printing of posters - the online sources are too costly at low runs and then there's that pesky delivery charge. We're hoping that all cabaret clubs, organizations and performers - around the world - will join us in promoting the art and the artists of cabaret during this special month!

The MARCH IS CABARET MONTH kick-off gala will be on Wednesday, March 6th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - )! The dinner and show will feature speakers and performers from the world of cabaret! A special presentation will be made to one or more persons or organizations which have done outstanding work to promote cabaret in 2012.

On January 15th we started Part 2 dealing with the gala promotion and expenses, plus additional expenses to get the word out on this (hopefully) worldwide promotion of cabaret. This includes updating the MARCH IS CABARET MONTH website with information on shows/events by location rather than by date as in the CABARET EVENT LISTINGS pages. We plan to particularly promote the show and events that include the phrase "MARCH IS CABARET MONTH" in their press releases. There will even be MARCH IS CABARET MONTH logos of several sizes that you can include on your own website!

We hope that additional sponsors will step forward to help cover all the expenses of the show itself so that all income from ticket sales can be used to support CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE to help us spread the word of cabaret and the MARCH IS CABARET MONTH programs and events around the world.

Tickets for our 6th Annual MARCH IS CABARET MONTH GALA on March 6th will go on sale on Saturday, January 19th to members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE and to the general public on Tuesday, January 22nd via the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE NEWSLETTER on that date. 

Tickets for the gala will be $25 each ($35 for VIP) with $5 off for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE. All tickets must be ordered online and paid for in advance.
