NYC: SALON PRESENTS: A Memorial Cabaret Tribute to Michael Nelsen
SALON PRESENTS: A Memorial Cabaret Tribute to Michael Nelsen hosted by Julie Reyburn on Saturday, January 19th at 8:00 pm (doors open at 7:00 pm) at ETCETERA ETCETERA (352 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-399-4141). Michael Nelsen passed away this summer after a long illness. Mr. Nelsen was a regular audience member in cabaret rooms, not just in NYC but he also regularly travelled to other cities to support his many favorite performers when they appeared out of the NYC area.

There will also be the official announcement of the Michael J. Nelsen Scholarship Fund. This annual memorial scholarship will award monies to an up and coming cabaret performer. Details to be announced at the memorial.

Performances by: Tom Anderson, Scott Coulter, Baby Jane Dexter, Tim Di Pasqua, Natalie Douglas, Terese Genecco, Daryl Glenn, Carolyn Montgomery, Miles Phillips, Shaynee Rainbolt, John Patrick Shutz, Marcus Simeone, and Stacy Sullivan. Musical Director: Mark Janas
