NYC: LINDA EDER ILL - MARIN MAZZIE FILLS IN AT 54 BELOW
Linda Eder has been forced to cancel her engagement at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) originally scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday, January 22nd through 26th due to illness. Her appearance has been rescheduled for the spring. Broadway star Marin Mazzie will replace her. Performances are scheduled for January 22nd at 8:30 pm; 23rd & 24th at 7:00 pm; 25th at 8:30 & 11:00 pm; 26th at 8:30 pm. Mazzie returns in an encore engagement of her acclaimed show that she premiered at the venue in September. Marin Mazzie burst onto Broadway in Big River, and throughout a brilliant career that has included creating leading roles in Passion and Ragtime, to her celebrated and much-lauded performances in Kiss Me, Kate, Man of La Mancha, Spamalot and, just recently, Next to Normal and Carrie, three time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie is considered among the brightest lights on Broadway. Marin's extensive concert/cabaret career has taken her across the country from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, from The Russian Tea Room to the Cinegrill. There is a $35-$33 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
