NYC: 'I GOT IT FROM AGNES' AND OTHER INFECTIOUS SONGS BY TOM LEHRER
'I Got It From Agnes' and Other Infectious Songs by Tom Lehrer will be presented at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday, January 4th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, January 6th at 4:00 pm. The show celebrates not only the witty, pithy, macabre, and satirical songs and witty sayings (with some biting social commentary) by Mr. Lehrer but the years during which he wrote them, the 1950s and early 1960s. And if you've never heard Tom Lehrer's songs, then it's time you caught the fun. Performed by Mary Sheeran, with musical direction by Jeff Cubeta. There is a $15 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
