NYC: JASON ROBERT BROWN AT BIRDLAND
The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to present the return of composer Jason Robert Brown atBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) on Monday, July 30th, with two shows, at 6:00 and 8:30 pm. Jason's musical guest stars will be Leslie Odom, Jr. (Sam Strickland on "Smash," Leap of Faith), Heidi Blickenstaff (title of show, First You Dream) and Jennifer Damiano (Tony nominee/Next To Normal, Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark). Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown will feature brand new material in addition to songs from his shows, including The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Parade, and 13, as well as his solo album "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes." There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
