MW: NITZ & HOWE RETURN TO THE ACORN
To kick-off their 13th year, and 900th performance, Chicago's longest running cabaret show comes to the ACORN THEATER(107 Generations Drive, Three Oaks, MI - 269-756-3879) on Thursday, August 2nd at 8:00 pm. "Mr. Entertainment" and "Mr. Music", a.k.a Daryl Nitz and George Howe, host the wildest weekend party in town! As seen on WGN-TV and NBC-5, this show is part piano bar request, part audience participation, and part stand-up comedy; it is always spontaneous and fun. Nitz and Howe offer a "happening" that runs the gamut from pop songs by the Eurythmics or Reba McEntire, to show tunes from Broadway (just try and stump them), standards, jazz, and blues. These two guys do it all. On top of the music, there is an incredible audience repartee that keeps people, young and old, coming back for more. Plus Nitz performs amazing vocal impressions of Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mandy Patinkin, Billie Holiday, Carol Channing, Eartha Kitt, and many more. This is a one-of-a-kind evening of high-energy entertainment and a unique opportunity to see this show in a theatre setting. Tickets are $15
