CHI: SCOTT GRYDER MAKES SOLO DEBUT AT DAVENPORT'S
Scott Gryder makes his debut solo performance atDAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Fridays, October 12th & 19th at 8:00 pm in his new show LIFE IS A CABARET! The Music and Words of Kander & Ebb. The show is a musical tribute to the legendary songwriting team that gave us Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Cabaret, and so many Broadway hits! In addition to Scott Gryder will be Nick Sula on piano and Phil Martin on drums. Originally from the dusty plains of West Texas, Scott Gryder is a professional entertainer in Chicago. Currently performing in the cabaret circuit and at local music venues, Scott specializes in character songs, with musical styles ranging from pop and cabaret to specialty numbers and show tunes; covering the works of local talents like Susan Werner, show music from Sondheim to Kerrigan & Lowdermilk, pop from stars such as Elton John, and many more.
