L.A.: PART TIME DIVA IN PALM DESERT
Dianne Fraser performs her hit one-woman show PART TIME DIVA as part of Les Michaels' Sundays in Summer Series in Palm Desert on Sunday, September 2nd at 2:00 pm at THE ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE at the JOSLYN CENTER THEATRE (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - TKTS: 760-325-2731). She is joined by Musical Directors Brad Ellis & Jonathan Dinerstein, Nate Light on Bass, and Denise Fraser on Drums. Special Material by Jeff Cohn. Dianne's unique path to the cabaret scene includes a successful career behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. She spent several years in the ranks of Hollywood agents and is now a partner in management company Industry Entertainment. At the same time, she has thrived in her role as wife and mother. Prior to her rise in the world of professional representation, she performed in a variety of Off-Broadway productions, an endless stream of musicals from Manhattan to Monrovia. She even appeared on Broadway ... as a waitress at the Saloon Restaurant (64th & Broadway). Ms. Fraser recently made her triumphant return to the theatre as a producer of the musical "Glimpses of the Moon" in the Oak Room of the Algonquin, the revised "Working" at the Broadway Playhouse in Chicago and the upcoming "Gilligan's Island, the Musical" heading soon to Broadway. There is a $10 cover.
