SF: VERONICA KLAUS SINGS "THE PEGGY LEE SONGBOOK"
RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) presents the return of San Francisco chanteuse Veronica Klaus with an encore of her critically acclaimed show featuring the music of Peggy Lee on Friday & Saturday, August 24th & 25th at 10:00 pm. She will celebrate her new CD "Something Cool." Veronica's keen sensibility and eclectic taste guarantee an evening of intriguing musical selections, encompassing a broad range of material from jazz and pop to originals and obscure gems. Klaus crafts an evening of music with selections like Rodgers & Hart's "Lover," "I Lost My Sugar in Salt Lake City," "Moments Like This," and "Fever." The Tammy Hall Trio provides accompaniment with the Hall's multi-dynamic piano mastery, Daniel Fabricant's bass providing swinging jazz to Latin licks and Kent Bryson's tuneful timely drums and percussion. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
