NYC: SEAN HARKNESS IN DUOS, A MUSICAL TALK SHOW
On the first Thursday of each month, guitar virtuoso Sean Harkness hosts two guests in his musical talkshow DUOS at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). This month, on Thursday, June 7th at 9:30 pm, Sean's guests are KJ Denhert, a one of a kind songwriter, guitarist, and must-see performer; and Mimi Jones, bassist, vocalist, and composer with some serious jazz pedigree. Ms. Denhert has appeared at scores of festivals and has residencies at the '55 Bar' and Smoke in NYC, at the Baz Bar in St. Barth's, and at the prestigious Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy. Mimi tours extensively as both an artist and accompanist, and has performed on five continents as a US Jazz Ambassador through Lincoln Center. There is a $20cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
