SOUTH: CIOMPI & MEHRBACH SING IN PRAISE OF THE LETTER "W"
As part of the national "March is Cabaret Month" observances, Ellen Ciompi and her pianist/musical director Glenn Mehrbach present "In Praise of W", Sunday, March 18th at 4:00 pm at the NORTH CAROLINA SCHOOL OF SCIENCE & MATHEMATICS (1219 Broad Street, Durham, NC). Ellen and Glenn will perform songs by composers whose names begin with "W". Think Kurt Weill, Harry Warren, Brian Wilson, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Alec Wilder, Tom Waits, and many others. It's a surprisingly eclectic list, featuring songs that are witty, wise and wholly wonderful! Tickets are $10 and available at the door. Admission is free for NCSSM students. Free parking.
