NYC: OBERLIN IN FEBRUARY "STRINGING ALONG WITH LOVE"
Karen Oberlin brings her brand-new show "Stringing Along with Love" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for two more performances in February. Oberlin is joined by Sean Harkness on guitar and one special guest violinist per week. Violinist on Tuesday, February 21st is Matthew Morrison, with Jonathan Russell as guest on the 28th. All shows are at 7:00 pm. Oberlin's "Stringing Along with Love" explores exceptional, amorous expressions in song. Songwriters range from Rodgers and Hart to Sir Paul McCartney, including songs from our current community of songwriters, traveling from humor to heartbreak and back. Here Oberlin approaches love through the looking glass and it's many intriguing facets and nuances, through song, in a brand new show. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
