CHI: JULIA MERCHANT SINGS SONGS FROM S.W. MICHIGAN
Julia Merchant brings her new show "I'm From Here ... Songs from Southeastern Michigan" to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Saturdays, January 14th, 21st & 28th at 8:00 pm. She will be accompanied by George Howe on Piano. Julia Merchant goes back to her roots in this, her third solo show at Davenport's. Through Classic Motown, Rock, and Country, the story is told of what it means to love old friends, The Detroit Red Wings, assembly lines, and Faygo Red Pop ... and what that love means when "home" becomes redefined.
