NYC: ELAINE STRICH OPENS CAFE CARLYLE SEASON - FINAL SHOW TONIGHT
THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) has announced the 2011 fall season of performers at the legendary club. Tony and Emmy Award-winner (and resident leading lady) Elaine Stritch will open the fall season in a three-week engagement, Tuesdays through Saturdays, from September 13th through October 1st at 8:45 pm. Her show is called "ELAINE STRITCH AT HOME AT THE CARLYLE: SINGIN' SONDHEIM ... AGAIN. WHY NOT?" There is a $85-$125-$175 cover.
