MW: I HEAR MUSIC: 100 YEARS OF FRANK LOESSER
Vocalist John Eskola and pianist Patricia Rusk join forces as they sing and play through the life and career of Frank Loesser in their show "I Hear Music: 100 Years Of Frank Loesser" at THE WILMETTE THEATRE (1122 Central Avenue, Wilmette, IL - 847-251-7424) on Monday, April 11th at 7:30 pm. Loesser was one of the most versatile lyricist/composer of hit songs and musicals of the 20th century. During World War II, with "Jingle, Jangle, Jingle", he found his voice and became lyricist and composer. In 1948, he moved to Broadway and wrote hit shows that are still performed regularly: "Where's Charley?", "Guys And Dolls", "The Most Happy Fella", and "How To Succeed In Business". Tickets are $20.
