L.A.AREA: VICKI KNIGHT PERFORMS AT BLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT
Vicki Knight will present her latest cabaret show, "Song From The Heart", featuring her fans most requested songs, at JOSLYN CENTER'S ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - 760-340-3220) on Sunday, January 16th at 2:00 pm. She is joined by musical director Joel Baker on piano. Songs include "Put On A Happy Face", "Make Someone Happy", "On A Clear Day", "As Long As He Needs Me", "Mame", "If He Walked Into My Life", "Where Do You Start?". "Little Girl Blue", "How Deep Is The Ocean?", "Kretchma", "Don't Tell Mama", "Maybe This Time", and more, along with stories and patter delivered in the comedic style that's become her trademark. Originally from Canada where she was a well-known performer, Vicki Knight moved to the Desert area in the early eighties and wasted no time making a name for herself in Southern California and quickly dubbed "The Desert's Songbird". There is a $10 cover.
