FEATURED CABARET FESTIVAL EVENT
Over 20 different cabaret performances from 10 performers will be presented as part of A Festival of Cabaret, Indy's first five-night festival featuring artists from the international and New York cabaret scene. The festival takes place Monday through Friday, September 13th through 17th at THE CABARET AT THE COLUMBIA CLUB (121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN - 317-275-1169 - ). Performances represent both classic and contemporary cabaret, spanning the music of Jazz, the Great American Songbook, the European Songbook, Broadway and Pop. Audiences will be able to take in a different line-up each night--with up to ten extraordinary performers each presenting audiences with a "mini-show" every half hour. On Wednesday evening at 9:00 pm performances include; Phillip Fortenberry (Accomplished pianist, recording artist and Broadway musical director), Karen Kohler and The Chicago Cabaret Project. Admission is free, but audience members must RSVP toKristopher@kmpartists.com with their selected dates.
