TODAY IN L.A.AREA: "GENDER BENDER" RETURNS TO JOSLYN CENTER TONIGHT ONLY
Doug Graham and Charles Herrera in "Gender Bender" with piano accompaniment by musical director Paul Cracchiolo will be return on Saturday, September 18th at 7:OO pm at JOSLYN CENTER THEATRE (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - 760-340-3220 - ). The show will feature many wonderful standards and Broadway show songs that were made famous by, or associated with woman, Doug Graham and Charles Herrera will present them "male style". Charles Herrera has been performing for over 25 years and most recently starred in "Decades", and "Gershwin Time: And The Livin' Is Easy" for Cabaret Theatre West Productions in Indian Wells. Doug Graham is also a musical theater veteran having toured in such shows as "Bob Fosse's Dancin", "A Chorus Line", "Cats", "Phantom Of The Opera", "Will Rogers Follies", "Woman Of The Year", "Dames At Sea" "Chess", "Fantasticks" and "Chicago". Both Doug and Charles moved to Palm Springs in the last two years and instantly became favorites of the locals. "Gender Bender" will be their first collaboration together and with direction by Larry Lazarro, who had recent success with his show Mensky's Burlesque at Thorny Theater and special choreography by Doug Graham.
