Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano make their debut at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189), fresh from an acclaimed, sold-out engagement at the ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM. Performances are scheduled for Sunday, November 13th at 3:00 pm and Monday, November 14th at 8:00 pm. Their new show, "HELLUVA TOWN: A New York Soundtrack" celebrates the love/hate affair Comstock, Fasano and most New Yorkers have with their city. Rather than sing predictable New York anthems, Comstock and Fasano will perform an idiosyncratic mix of songs from Broadway and Hollywood, the pop singer-songwriters and the jazz songbook. Winners of the 2010 New York Nightlife Award, they are the New York nightclub world's most celebrated team, with an act that is as entertaining as it is musically savvy. Whether the song is by Cole Porter or Paul Simon, Duke Ellington or Joni Mitchell, Comstock and Fasano make it fresh and new, and their audiences feel they've been to a terrific party where the music and the stories have been equally great. A rare concert performance of John Bucchino's uplifting musical revue "IT'S ONLY LIFE", co-conceived and originally directed by Daisy Prince, will be presented at BIRDLAND(315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) on Monday, November 14th at 7:00 pm. The cast of the recent Melbourne, Australia production (Christian Cavallo, Phoebe Coupe, Zack Anthony Curran, Madeleine Featherby, Laura Fitzpatrick, Sam Rabbone and Cameron Thomas) has flown to New York especially for this performance, and the composer will be accompanying them at the piano. At Last! was recorded on Cape Cod at the REO Studios in Centerville. The pianists and singers are all gay men. The show (subtitled "a kiwi's musical ode to '80s") tells what happens when you're a young New Zealand musician arriving in New York in the 80's with no money and nowhere to live. Internationally known actor-singer Parker Scott celebrates the release of his new CD "Selecting Souvenirs - An Intimate Journey through the Great American Songbook" at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, November 13th at 7:00 pm. Parker is joined by arranger/ pianist Wells Hanley. The show is directed by Bistro Award-winning and MAC-Nominated director, Gerry Geddes. Selecting Souvenirs features songs by Richard Rodgers, Henry Mancini, John Denver, Hoagy Carmichael, Errol Garner, Lew Spence and Cole Porter among others. Parker's previous nightclub appearances include engagements at Danny's, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, Eighty-Eight's, and guest appearances at Judy's and The Metropolitan Room. He was the lead male vocalist aboard The Silver Whisper and sailed to 38 countries, along the way also giving performances in Camogli, Italy and St. Petersburg, Russia. Parker appeared as John Denver in Bring Me John Denver at the Granbury Opera House in Texas, where he delighted audiences and critics in a concert of John Denver songs. Stark has appeared as a special guest in venues all around NYC (including the Oak Room of the Algonquin, Concerts at Tudor City Greens, Cabaret Cares Gala) and in her first full evening, "Presenting Cookie Stark" at Don't Tell Mama. With songs ranging from Stephen Sondheim's "Children and Art" to her signature song, Rodgers & Hart's "The Lady is a Tramp," Cookie is back with some serious stuff ... and some real sass. Barbara Malley brings her show I REMEMBER BROOKLYN to the THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Sunday, November 13th at 1:00 pm. Directed by Barry Kleinbort the show features guest appearances by Ginnie and Tim Bailey, Tom and Eliot Smith and Jerry Saunders. Musical Director is David Gaines. In the show, the borough of Brooklyn is celebrated in song and story. Starting when, at age 13, she was assigned to direct her eighth grade assembly, Barbara has been has never lost her love to perform. Talent show competitions, singing in choirs and glee clubs, writing skits, acting in local plays, then classes at HB Studio, Weist-Barron and the 92 St. Y. Barbara made her cabaret debut at Laurie Beechman and has also had shows at Don't Tell Mama. Singing has remained her primary love, but comedy and improv as well as on-camera commercials and voice overs occupy much of her time. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum. The proceeds of this show will go to The Jackie Robinson Foundation Leadership and Mentoring Program.

She is joined by Mark Soskin, piano; Bill Moring, bass; and Devin Kelly, drums. Her 2005 debut CD, Easy on the Heart, made radio waves and introduced her to a wide jazz audience. Dreams & Shadows, her 2008 follow-up, debuted at #2 on the national JazzWeek chart and confirmed her ability to find great songs and effortlessly bring them to life. Judy newest CD, Under a Painted Sky, on the Jazzed Media label, marries Judy's expressive storytelling and out-of-the-box song selections with the richly harmonic arrangements of pianist Alan Pasqua. Wexler has performed around the world, including jazz festivals in Montreal, Tel Aviv, Dubai, San Jose, and Temecula, where she opened the show for Mose Allison. On November 12th, international cabaret star Nancy Timpanaro-Hogan debuts her new act, Accentuate the Positive, Baby! Songs I Love to Sing!, having sold out every solo Salem performance and produced and hosted last Christmas's An Andy Williams Family Christmas Spectacular (Minus Andy Williams). The poster girl for homecoming, she fell in love and married chiropractor Wayne Hogan from her hometown, and returned to Mechanicville after a meteoric rise and twenty years in Manhattan cabaret, touring and opening for Joan Rivers, appearing on tour internationally, and starring across the country in her own one-woman show about Totie Fields. Ms. Timpanaro-Hogan embodies the many aspects of the true cabaret spirit with her intense sense of the immediate and the intimate. Acclaimed singer Robyn Spangler will celebrate the release of her new CD "Why I Love Linda Ronstadt" on Saturday, November 12th at 9:00 pm at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444). She will be joined by her Musical Director, Todd Schroeder. Ronstadt is best known as the queen of the "rock ballad" with her string of hits in the late 60s and early 70s, but that's just the beginning of a four decade plus career in music which includes almost every genre.
