NYC: METROPOLITAN ROOM INAUGURATES OPEN-MIC PIANO BAR

Piano bar and open mic returns to Chelsea and THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 ) on Friday & Saturday nights from 11:30 pm in the cabaret room. This Friday, David Shenton will be on the piano and Erik James takes over the keyboard on Saturdays. There is no cover, just a 2-beverage minimum.

Congratulations to MaryJo Mundy and Les Michaels on a job well-done as they both leave their hosting duties at the two weekly, long-running Los Angeles area open mics events they each worked so hard to establish and build. The Tuesday night Open Mic at THE GARDENIA (formerly known as Mundy's on Tuesdays) will now be hosted by Keri Kelsey. Les Michael's Open Mic nights at VERMONT continues on Mondays with Ron Snyder along with guest hosts.
