NYC: "WATER FROM THE MOON" - ROCK MUSICAL AT URBAN STAGES

"Water From The Moon", a rock musical following a Grammy Award winning rock band from tech rehearsal to a Hollywood Bowl concert, will be presented at URBAN STAGES (259 West 30th Street, NYC - 866-811-4111) opening on Wednesday, January 6th and running Wednesdays through Sundays through January 17th. Showtimes are 7:00 pm, Wednesday through Friday; 2:00 & 7:00 pm on Saturdays; and 2:00 pm on Sundays. WATER FROM THE MOON is written by award winning Broadway and cabaret veteran Rosemary Loar and her husband Robert W. Atwood. In 2011. The Manhattan Musical Theatre Lab launched their musical Spoolie Girl, which was nominated for 11 "Best of the Fest" awards at the 2012 Midtown International Theatre Festival, including winner of the award for "Outstanding Music and Lyrics" and a nomination for "Best Production of a Musical." It is directed by Lisa Milinazzo, with music direction by John DiPinto and features Rosemary Loar, Rich Hebert (Les Miserables), Raissa Katona Bennett (Phantom Of The Opera) and Alicia Irving (Les Miserables), Andrea Dotto, Emily Briggs and Sadie Gracelynn Trigg. As the day unfolds Wildberry is confronted by a decision she must make. Will she say goodbye and make peace with her dying father? It is a heartwarming story of reconciliation between an Irish American daughter and her hard headed father; heartbreaking and absurdly humorous. Sometimes the only way to drown out your father's voice is to find your own. Reserve through Brown Paper Tickets at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2471372
