Jay Tighe appears at MARTUNI'S (4 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-241-0205) in "Up Close & Driven" with special guest Alex Newell on Thursday, October 8th at 8:00 pm. Singer/ songwriter Jay Tighe recently released his debut album "Driven" which features 11 tracks all written by Jay. Tighe says artists ranging from Rascal Flatts to Kenny Rogers have influenced his mix of country & pop songwriting. He has shared the stage with artists including Sugarland, Jason Aldean, Enrique Iglesias, and many others. His debut single, "Red Flags," is on country radio now. Alex Newell is an actor and singer best known for his role as Unique Adams on Glee. He made his TV debut as a finalist on the first season of The Glee Project. Recently, Alex has seen great success on the dance charts with several singles reaching the top including his collaboration with The Knocks on "Collect My Love." There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
