CABARET TONIGHT IN LONDON: JULIE ROSS - DON'T ASK THE LADY

CABARET TONIGHT IN LONDON: JULIE ROSS - DON'T ASK THE LADY

Julie Ross appears at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, February 10th at 8:00 pm with her show "Don't Ask The Lady". It is a unique one-woman show, celebrating the creative spirit of 20th century female songwriters, whose talent, tenacity and determination overcame obstacles in a field where many were discouraged - it was simply not considered 'women's work'. Through Julie Ross' own "special blend of humorous and touching cabaret", you'll discover rarely heard gems and popular classics by the likes of Dorothy Fields, Edith Piaf, Joni Mitchell, Dillie Keane and many more, as well as hear the stories of how these great and wonderful songs came to life. Julie began her career in Australia, appearing in musicals such as Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar, and television soap operas Young Doctors and Sons & Daughters. Since arriving in the UK, her theatre credits have included leading roles in South Pacific, Company, Follies, Be my Baby and Little Me. Call for cover/minimum information.
