CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED AT 54 BELOW
A celebrated New York event since 2010, the Bistro Award-winning series Sondheim Unplugged will be presented at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Sunday, December 22nd at 7:00 pm. The show features some of Broadway and cabaret's most dynamic voices, accompanied by piano only. Expect tunes from A Little Night Music, Company, Into the Woods, Follies, Passion, Dick Tracy, and more. Sondheim Unplugged is hosted by series creator Phil Geoffrey Bond, who will fill the audience in on Sondheimien facts, history, and assorted tidbits of theatrical lore! Special guests this week include Pamela Myers (Company's original Marta), Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd's original Johanna), and Jim Walton (Merrily We Roll Along's original Franklin Shepard). Also starring: Lisa Asher, Mick Bleyer, Derrick Cobey, Alexis Cole, Eric Michael Gillett, Leah Horowitz, Rob Maitner, Molly Pope, Julie Reyburn, and Lucia Spina. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
