NYC: LA NUIT EN ROSE - SONGS OF EDITH PIAF

World-renowned vocalist Melanie Gall brings her show 'La Nuit en Rose - Songs of Edith Piaf' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, November 20th at 9:30 pm. La Nuit en Rose transports the audience to the streets of Paris, with several of Edith Piaf's most popular songs (La Vie En Rose, Under Paris Skies, Je ne Regrette Rien, l'Accordeoniste, Padam, Padam). Gall mixes this wonderful music with stories of Piaf's life, (many) loves, as well as the adventures she's had, performing Piaf's music around the world. La Nuit en Rose has been performed by Melanie Gall at festivals, cabaret clubs and theaters worldwide, to sold-out crowds and critical acclaim. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY: MIKE KAPLAN AND THE BEN WILLIAMS QUINTET

MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200) every Wednesday. This long-running series was created by Edmund Anderson and is now produced by Ronny Whyte. The show on Wednesday, November 20th features Mike Kaplan and the Ben Williams Quintet. Performances are at 1:00 pm, $10 donation.

NYC: SCOTT SIEGEL'S BROADWAY BALLYHOO WEDNESDAYS

The Broadway Ballyhoo returns after its one year, critically acclaimed run at Feinstein's at the Regency and continues this Wednesday at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) for an open-ended run that will play every Wednesday night at 10:30 pm. The Ballyhoo features a different musical revue, with new stars and different great show tunes, every single week! Scott Siegel hosts. Ian Herman is the Musical Director. Performers in the show on Wednesday, November 20th are TBA. There is a $25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

NYC: JASON ROBERT BROWN AT 54 BELOW

Tony winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last 5 Years, 13, Songs for a New World) returns to 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for 7 shows, after last year's sold-out engagement. Performances are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, November 18th, 20th & 21st at 7:00 pm; and Friday & Saturday, November 22nd & 23rd at 8:00 & 11:00 pm. Expect tunes both new and old, hilarious and poignant, caustic and inspiring from his diverse & prolific catalogue, featuring his band, The Caucasian Rhythm Kings, and cast members from Honeymoon In Vegas (premiering this fall at Paper Mill Playhouse), The Bridges of Madison County (opening on Broadway in February) and the winners of the online JRB Karaoke Competition. There is a $25-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: THE MEETING* HOSTED BY JUSTIN SAYRE MOVES TO 54 BELOW

Fresh from the success of Night of a Thousand Judys, The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre has moved to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for a six month run starting on July 24th at 9:30 pm. Additional dates are August 28th, September 25th, October 30th, November 20th and December 18th. All shows are at 9:30 pm. Known for its signature blend of outrageous comedy, politics, culture and everything in between, The Meeting* is moving uptown after four seasons of packed houses in the West Village. Justin Sayre and The Meeting received the 2012 Bistro Award for "Comedy Artistry" and a 2011 MAC Award nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance. The monthly events have featured popular guest stars such as Nellie McKay, Robin Byrd, Marilyn Maye, Christian Campbell, Lea DeLaria, Frank DeCaro, Lance Horne, Lady Rizo, Tituss Burgess, Kenny Mellman, Maude Maggart, Jack Ferver, Murray Hill, Jeffery Self, Cole Escola, Bridget Everett and more. NYC: LATE NIGHT AT 54 BELOW WITH MAMMA RICE

Mamma Rice is BACK to celebrate the holidays at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday, November 20th at 11:30 pm. First up, celebrate the arrival of cold weather Mamma Rice-style along side a full Kansas City blues band and of course your favorite pianist (Cap21/Rock of Ages) Marshall Keating. Mamma's singing some great tunes and we hear some friends will be stopping by to visit us in the basement! Join her for all the comedy, crazy and good times you've come to know. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: CARMELA RAPPAZZO AT JOE'S PUB

Carmela Rappazzo releases her eagerly awaited CD Myths and Legends at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE(425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Wednesday, November 20th at 7:30 pm. From her close study of the Great American Songbooks Rappazzo crafts original songs of difficult woman, love gone wrong, and the dreams and spirits within us all. The recording has been described as 'Heartfelt, sly and swinging, a CD for all jazz lovers.' There is a $25 cover.

NYC: LADY RIZO: CD RELEASE AT JOE'S PUB

Join Lady Rizo as she celebrates her CD release shows at at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Wednesday & Thursday, November 20th & 21st at 9:30 pm. Fresh off her sold out runs in the UK at London's Soho Theatre, and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she was given rave reviews, Lady Rizo is now releasing her long awaited debut album. The comedienne and chanteuse revives the genre by creating vintage arrangements & theatrical explorations of pop songs from every decade. Lady Rizo (nee Amelia Zirin-Brown) co-created the cult caburlesque spectacular Lady Rizo & the Assettes in 2005. She is the Mistress of Ceremonies for current hotspot The Darby, a decadent modern supperclub in the West Village. In the same location as the legendary nightclub Nell's, she performs her pop arrangements there nightly to entertain music luminaries like Prince, Ashford and Simpson, Beyonce & Jay-Z. There is a $25 cover.
