NY STATE: PIANO BAR WITH BOBBY BELFRY AT THE BEAR MOUNTAIN INN

Each Thursday night beginning at 8:00 pm, THE BLUE ROOF TAPAS BAR at THE BEAR MOUNTAIN INN(55 Hessian Drive, Bear Mountain, NY - 845-786-2731) will host a rollicking night of great music from Sinatra to GaGa and just about every musical genre in between on Thursdays, with award winning recording artist and songwriter Bobby Belfry as singer & host and the brilliant all-around musician and singer David Budway at the piano, as well as the magnificent Sarah Mucho on vocals (this lady can croon and rock then tear it all up and start over again! If you don't know what that means-there's only one way to find out!) The mic is OPEN! So if you sing, bring sheet music and sing a tune. AND if you don't sing, sing along anyway! Chef Michael Matarazzo has prepared a phenomenal menu of delicious & sophisticated tapas and comfort-bar food that will satisfy and amaze! BOSTON: VIVIAN MALE AT SCULLERS

Jazz and R & B vocalist Vivian Male will perform at SCULLERS JAZZ CLUB(400 Soldiers Field Road, Allston, MA - 617-562-4111 - ) on Thursday, October 31st with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Her song renditions range in mood and tempo and demonstrate a musical versatility that appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Vivian's repertoire is exciting and unpredictable. Her musical versatility brings you on a musical adventure that is tantalizing and rewarding. Her memorable interpretations of the standards are complemented by popular adult contemporary music, and punctuated with a sprinkle of sass. Her CD, "Our Day Will Come" has become a classic. Inducted into "Steppin' Out's" Hall of Fame with George Benson, she is one of New England's favorite vocalists. Dinner/Show: $70 Show only: $30.

BOSTON: DJANGO REINHARDT FESTIVAL ALLSTARS FEATURING DORADO SCHMITT

The Django Reinhardt Festival Allstars return to THE REGATTABAR at the Charles Hotel (1 Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA - 617-395-7757 - ) on Thursday, October 31st with shows at 7:30 & 10:00 pm. The event carries on the legacy of legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt, but with some new songs and new interpretations keeping it fresh, exciting, cutting-edge ... but true to the Hot Jazz, Romantic, style which has exploded across the US. It all started at Birdland in 2000 with the launching of the Festival (produced by Pat Philips & Ettore Stratta) and continued with tours including prestigious venues such as The Kennedy Center, Disney Hall in LA, and The San Francisco Festival. Dorado Schmitt, legendary Manouche gypsy guitarist from the Strasbourg region of France, returns to adoring fans. Schmitt started coming to the US in 2002 and has been a star attraction at major festivals and at Birdland in NY, home of the Django Reinhardt NY Festival, and played alongside some of the US's most important jazz artists, James Carter, Paquito D'Rivera, George Benson, Joe Lovano, Harry Allen, and so many others. There is a $30 cover.

TORONTO: ADI BRAUN AT THE JAZZ BISTRO

Adi Braun returns to THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 - ) on Thursday through Saturday, October 31st through November 2nd at 9:00 pm. She is joined by her new Trio - David Restivo (piano), Pat Collins (bass), and Daniel Barnes (drums). In addition to her bold mix of jazz standards and cabaret classics, Adi's second set each night will be devoted to the Great Canadian Songbook. Come and hear gems by such notables as Shirley Eikhard, Gordon Lightfoot, AndrRe Bernard, as well as some of Adi's own originals. Canadian Jazz Vocalist and 2007 MAC Award Nominee (Best Major Jazz Vocalist) Adi Braun has a long list of cabaret, concert and theatre successes to her credit. She has performed in every major jazz and concert venue in Toronto, has toured Canada, the United States and Europe, and released four critically acclaimed CDs, Delishious, The Rules of the Game, Live at the Metropolitan Room, and her latest offering Canadian Scenes I featuring all original material. There is a $15 cover.
