TONIGHT'S CABARET PICK - NYC: DONNA HAYES - THE PEOPLE WE MEET ALONG THE WAY
After debuting her fourth solo cabaret show in June to a full house and a very enthusiastic response, Donna Hayes returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with an encore performance of "The People We Meet Along The Way", on Thursday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m. This show is directed by Gretchen Reinhagen (2013 MAC Award Winner for Best Director) with musical direction by Justin Stoney and Tom Hubbard on bass. John Kander & Fred Ebb, Michael Jackson, Alecia Moore ("Pink"), Diane Warren, U2, Tracy Chapman and Johnny Mercer are just some of the songwriters and artists whose music will be featured in Miss Hayes' set. In this show, she embarks on a musical journey inspired by some of the fascinating people she has met along the way and the lasting impact they have made. She is looking forward to meeting you along the way. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
