CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: THE RICHARD WHITEMAN TRIO AT THE JAZZ BISTRO
The Richard Whitman Trio will perform at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 - ) on Tuesday & Wednesday, September 17th & 18th at 9:00 pm. Richard Whiteman has for more than 20 years been considered throughout the jazz community as one of the most gifted pianist this country has ever produced. As with many gifted artists one pursuit is never enough and Richard has recently moved his creative genius to the bass and has become a remarkably accomplished player. With the release of his newest recording 'On Course' Richard, with two of the musician sharing the stage for this engagement Amanda Tosoff on piano and Morgan Childs on drums, has announced his newest musical presence, driving the band from the bass chair. Expect jazz standards played as they should be and new music that enchants. Call for cover/minimum information.
