NYC: THE BIRDLAND JAZZ PARTY FEATURING TREVOR MCQUEEN
Trevor McQueen will perform at this Sunday's Birdland Jazz Party atBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) - August 25th at 6:00 pm. McQeen is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and made his Broadway debut as Little Jake in the revival of Annie Get Your Gun. Regional theater credits include Sunset Boulevard with Liz Callaway (PCLO) and 'S Wonderful: The New Gershwin Musical (Queens Theater in the Park). Trevor's love of jazz music began at a very young age, while listening to old Benny Goodman records in his neighbor's living room. He had the privilege of experiencing Pittsburgh's tremendous jazz scene while studying at Carnegie Mellon, playing with some of the city's most talented emerging and established musicians. Trevor has been consistently featured at Jazz at Andys at the Fairmont Pittsburgh for the past year, headlining with such jazz greats as legendary drummer Roger Humphries. There is a $25 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
