Many performers understudy lead roles and rehearse weekly, preparing for their moment in the spotlight. But what if their moment never arrives? Now 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents "Not At This Performance" featuring those understudies finally playing those roles for the first time in front of a live audience. Featuring music from Hairspray, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Rent, Sister Act, Spring Awakening, Xanadu, and more. Starring: Paul Castree, Robi Hager, Jesse JP Johnson, Veronica Kuehn, Bethany Moore, Libby Servais, Taylor Trensch, and Donna Vivino. Produced by Shoshana Feinstein with music direction by Benjamin M. Rauhala. There is a $15-$25 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
